Abstract:
Oral drug administration remains the most convenient and preferred route of delivery. However, oral extended-release drug products have not yet reached their full potential in the clinic. The aim of the present study was to design extendedrelease formulations containing nanospheres. Drug-loaded nanospheres were prepared by a spray drying method using natural biodegradable polymers. The poster will provide data demonstrating the use of nanospheres in providing extended-release of the model drugs for oral delivery.
