Abstract:

PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin) is a substance obtained by decantation centered on human blood acquired through venipuncture. This substance was described with merit by Choukroun in France and its use protocol won the world. The PRF properties revolutionize the surgical dentistry to promote great acceleration in the healing process to promote the ample release of tissue growth factors derived from the platelets for many days. Chemotaxis is also observed for undifferentiated mesenchymal cells. The improvement and acceleration of the inflammatory process has become the PRF object of study in several areas. Recently the PRF began to be used in facial aesthetics and the results were encouraging. Decreased wrinkles, nasogenian fold are some of the benefits without using PRF on the face. In this presentation, we discuss the use of PRF in skin rejuvenation and its applicability in facial aesthetics. This presentation will show some techniques for melasmas, acne scars, filling the nasogenian fold, temples and dark circles besides the use to improve the aged look of facial skin.
