The evolution of the research in the last years is continuously founding new toxicology data in the various metals species, in
different form and of oxidation states or size as nanoparticles. The atomic spectroscopy analytical techniques are following
this evolution to make possible the reliable determination of these elements at lower level, the characterization of the different
state of oxidation of the same element or the organometallic species that is able to form and also obtaining size information
when some element is present as nanoparticle.
Paolo Scardina work as Application Specialist in Agilent Technologies, Italy for the techniques of Atomic Spectroscopy in particular ICP-MS and QQQ-ICP-MS. He has a
background in analytical chemistry and works in the atomic and molecular spectroscopy and has 15 years of experience in these techniques.
