Abstract:

Different sources of forage protein fed twenty one Barki ewes in postpartum period were used in this study. Immune response, hematological pattern and change in body weight were determined. The results revealed that the effect of the tested ratios on most hematological and biochemical parameters were significant. Moreover, the improving of the average daily gain and the milk yield was affected by tested rations. The feed conversion efficiency based on DM and CP was better in G1 and G2 compared with G3. On the contrary, the economic efficiency was better with G3 compared with the other groups. The cellular and biochemical changes in the blood especially the increased gamma globulins and the hepatoprotective effect.
