Abstract:

Implant placement in the anterior maxilla remains a challenge to even the most experienced clinician. Immediate implant placement is a risky procedure in itself. To combine these to modalities is expected to have a variety of complications and possible negative outcome. Due to the pressure of patients?? lifestyles and time constricting careers, there is an increase in the demand for combined procedures. Thanks to the advances in the research and availability of dental implantology, it is possible for us clinicians to achieve favorable outcomes when adhering to the principles and techniques available. This poster presentation is representative of such instance, when following the correct guidelines; a successful outcome is made possible. A thorough clinical case presentation presents the basic guidelines in photo collage format with the relevant steps to show the beginning, intermediate and final stages of an immediate implant in the anterior maxilla.
