Bioreactors

A bioreactor refers to any factory-made device or system that supports a biologically active surroundings. In one case, a bioreactor may be a vessel that|during which|within which} a chemical action is meted out which involves organisms or biochemically active substances derived from such organisms. This method will either be aerobic or anaerobic. These bioreactors ar usually cylindrical, travel in size from litres to cube-shaped metres, and ar typically made from chrome steel. Organisms growing in bioreactors could also be submerged in liquid medium or could also be hooked up to the surface of a solid medium. Submerged cultures could also be suspended or immobilized. Suspension bioreactors will use a wider type of organisms, since special attachment surfaces don't seem to be required, and may operate at a way larger scale than immobilized cultures.
