Mazeyar Parvinzadeh Gashti got his Ph.D. degree in textile chemistry and fiber science under the supervision of Professor Siamak Moradian in 2010. He recently served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Bern, Berne, Switzerland from September 2011 till the end of 2013. Gashti is now working as a research fellow at Laval University, Quebec City, Canada. He is also a member of the editorial boards of 20 international polymer and material journals. Gashti has published 50 papers in different distinguished journals.
1. Recent Research Expertise and Interests Synthesis of bio- and nanomaterials in microfluidic devices, Application of biomaterials for controlling drug delivery of composites, particles and coatings on textiles. Preparation of composite Materials and particles for energy storage and conversion, Preparation of inorganic crystals in different polymeric gels, Mineralization of tooth enamel and bone.

Former Research Expertise and Interests Modification and synthesize of CNT with various monomers, Application of organic clays for modification of polymers used in infrastructures, Graft polymerization on clay and kaolin minerals for applying on textiles and polymers, Surface characterization of polymer composites, Interaction of polymers and different additives in polymer blends, UV photocatalysis reactions on polymer nanocomposites.
