Jian Zhang received his Ph.D. from Ibaraki University of Japan in 1999. After completing his post doctors in North Carolina State University with Dr. Marye Anne Fox and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with Dr. Royce W. Murray, he is currently working as an assistant professor in Center for Fluorescence Spectroscopy, University of Maryland School of Medicine. He has authored over 70 peer reviewed papers.
