Dr. Fernando Villalta is the Chair and Professor of Immunology, School of Medicine, Meharry Medical College. He received his Ph.D. in Microbiology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1981), followed by postdoctoral training in immunology at Michigan State University (1981-1986). He is a member of the American Association of Immunologists (AAI), has chaired Symposia at several AAI meetings and received several AAI mentoring awards. He served as regular member of the Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee of the FDA. He served on 14 NIH study sessions, including 4 for NIAID. He is serving as an editorial board member of 6 journals and reviewer for 20 journals.

Dr. Shihua Wang is a professor in Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University. He received his PhD in Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences during the period of 2011-2014. His research has included bacterium and fungi. Based on this research and fellowship training he has received several awards and honors, such as “New Century Excellent Talents in University of China”. He is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like “Frontiers in Food Microbiology”. Now he is the Executive Dean of Life Sciences School, Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University. He have authored 26 research articles and 2 books. He is the Vice-director of Fujian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of China, and a member of committee for analytical microbiology, and agricultural microbiology of the Chinese Society for Microbiology.
