Biography
Sharon Cresci is researcher and she focuses on the association of genetic variation with clinical outcomes in patients with cardiovascular disease and on the role of genetic variation in the variable response to pharmacologic treatment (i.e. Pharmacogenomics) of cardiovascular disease. Her specific interest is in individuals with both diabetes mellitus and coronary artery disease. The goal of her research is to ultimately be able to personalize each patient’s treatment based on their genotype.
