Biography
Dr. Rudy A. Hartskeerl, is molecular microbiologist and head of the WHO/FAO/OIE and National Collaborating Centre for Reference and Research on Leptospirosis and as such has gained considerable experience and knowledge on all aspects of leptospirosis, including diagnosis, epidemiology, molecular biology, characterisation, and immunology. He has coordinated and is involved in a number of multi-partner international research projects with partners from developed and developing countries.
