Biography

Ricardo Queiroz Gurgel Graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Sergipe (1981), Master's in Child and Adolescent Health from the University of São Paulo (1986) and Ph.D. in Child and Adolescent Health from the University of São Paulo (1993). He is currently Adjunct Professor of Pediatrics at the Federal University of Sergipe and, during 2007, he held a Post Doctoral Internship at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine in England.
