Biography
Dr. Oscar Garcia-Algar is a paediatrician, at the moment  Coordinator of Emergency Section of the Paediatrics Unit, Hospital del Mar, Barcelona, Spain. He also the Director of the Grup de Recerca Infància i Entorn (GRIE), Institut Hospital del Mar d’Investigacions Mèdiques (IMIM), Barcelona, Spain, and  Full Professor of Paediatrics. He published more than 200 indexed papers, with more than 1,800 citations. His main lines of research refers to prenatal and postnatal exposure  in alternative biological matrices. He obtained financial resources for research in more than 30 competitive calls and received several academic and research prices during his professional life.
