Naoki Tajiri is a Department of Neurosurgery and Brain Repair, University of South Florida College of Medicine, 12901 Bruce B. Downs Blvd. MDC78, Tampa, Florida 33612, USA The novel concepts that I advance in my research is the mechanistic link between cell therapy and neurorehabilitation via neurogenesis, which I believe has direct clinical application for neurological disorders, such as, ischemic stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), Alzheimer's disease (AD), Parkinson’s disease (PD), temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE) and spinal cord injury (SCI).
