Biography

I received a Ph D in Molecular biology from Hiroshima University in Japan in 1998. My postdoctoral training was carried at the Biotech Center in Rutgers University until 2001 when I was promoted to Research Assistant Professor. I joined Biological Sciences department in Louisiana State University as an Assistant Professor in 2005 and received the Research Fellowship for Young Scientists from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science JSPS in 1997.

Research Interest

His research areas of interest include development of nano-pharmaceutical formulations for investigational cardiovascular therapy, cancer chemotherapy and diagnostic imaging.
