Biography

Dr. Mulugeta Russom is a Pharmacist, Pharmacoepidemiologist and Pharmacovigilance Specialist. As founder and head of the Eritrean Pharmacovigilance Centre, Mulugeta has huge experience in setting up a full-fledged Pharmacovigilance system with demonstrated knowledge and skills in signal detection, Pharmacovigilance methods. His focus of research is on risk identification and evaluation of medical products. Mulugeta has published 40+ articles in international journals and four books. He is an experienced medical writer and reviewer in different international journals and associate editor of the International Journal of Risk and Safety in Medicine, IOS press.
