Biography
Margarida Lima was born in Vila Nova de Gaia on 21 June 1962, a beautiful Portuguese city that faces the Douro River at the point where it enters the Atlantic, where she lives to date. She is the first daughter of Margarida Carvalho and António Lima and she has a wonderful daughter, Cláudia Póvoa. Besides her family and friends and her professional activity, she also loves painting, poetry, and music. Educational background: Margarida Lima graduated in Medicine at the Institute for Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar (ICBAS), University of Porto (UP), in 1986.
