Biography

Dr. Luc Kestens is a professor in Immunology of Tropical Infectious diseases at the University of Antwerp. He is also a professor in the Institute of Tropical Medicine (ITM). He obtained the degree of Master of Science in Biology from the University of Antwerp, Belgium. He joined the Laboratory of Pathology and experimental schistosomiasis of the Institute of Tropical Medicine (ITM) and obtained a PhD on parasite immunology.
