QRAR Models for Diuretics using mixed Micellar Liquid Chromatography
Author(s): Li-Ping Wu, Cong Chen, Cheng-Jun Sun and Li-Ming YeLi-Ping Wu, Cong Chen, Cheng-Jun Sun and Li-Ming Ye

In this article, the capability of traditional biopartitioning micellar chromatography (BMC), using the pure Brij35 solution and the mixed micellar system of Brij35/SDS (85:15) as mobile phase respectively, under adequate experimental conditions, to describe and estimate bioactivities of diuretics, has been focused. The BMCBrij35/SDS-QRAR models can simulate the resting membrane potential and the conformation of the long hydrophilic polyoxyethylene chains remains unchanged. The predictive and interpretative ability of the chromatographic models was evaluated in terms of cross-validated data (RMSEC, RMSECV and RMSECVi). The obtained BMCBrij35/SDS-QRAR were compared with the traditional BMCBrij35-QRAR models, and better statistically models were obtained using Brij35-SDS retention data. .. View More»
