Biography

Dr Kalaiselvan played an important role in establishing a robust system of Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI) Currently, as Principal Scientific officer at Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission is responsible to protect and promote quality standards, safety and rational use of drugs. Also working towards establishing Materiovigilance Programme of India to monitor the safety of medical devices. My responsibilities also includes to work with WHO – country office (India), HQ Geneva and South East Asia Regional Office to strengthen medical products quality and safety monitoring system in India and other WHO member countries
