Biography
K Surekha is affiliated to Department of Electrical Engineering. He is a recipient of many awards and grants for his valuable contributions and discoveries in major area of subject research. His international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study.  His research interests reflect in his wide range of publications in various national and international journals.  
Research Interest
Soil Science (Chemistry/Fertility/Microbiology) Evaluation of nutrient use efficiency (N, Zn and other nutrients) of existing popular varieties and identification of efficient genotypes. ï‚· Evaluation of various indices of nutrient use efficiency in the identified efficient genotypes. ï‚· Development of various techniques (Agronomic and molecular approaches) for improving nutrient use efficiency. ï‚· Developing efficient composting techniques for rice straw utilisation. ï‚· Soil health improvement in rice production systems.
