Prof Hale Toklu graduated College of Pharmacy at Marmara University in 1998. Following her MSc degree in Pharmacology, she has received her PhD at the same university in 2006. She has been working at the Department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics in University of Florida College of Medicine since 2013. Her research includes brain injury, rational use of medicine, pharmacovigilance and problem based pharmacotherapy teaching. Based on this research she has received several awards and honors. She is serving as an editorial member/ reviewer over 20 journals. She has authored 56 research articles and 1 book chapter.
