Biography
She is awarded PhD in Fisheries and Aquaculture from Auburn University, Auburn, AL in the 2002. She holds a Master Degree (MSc) in Bio-Resource Engineering from University of Maine, Orono, ME in the 1996, followed by a Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Fisheries and Aquaculture Engineering from University of Ondokuzmayis, Samsun, Turkey in the 1991.  She has extended her valuable service as an Associate ProfessorCurrently, she is working as an Associate Professor for Delaware State University. Her international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study.  Her research interests as an Associate Professor reflect in her wide range of publications in various national and international journals.  
Research Interest
Marine aquaculture, habitat resotration and water quality issues, specifically research in the associations between algae, shellfish, and water quality, water quality driven tozicity in harmful algae, shellfish-algae dynamics, nutrient and water quality management, aqualtic ecology and health, seafood safety, and drinking water quality.
