Biography
Professor Ger McMahon is a Clinical Professor at Trinity College Dublin and a Consultant in Emergency Medicine at St James’s Hospital. She was awarded her PhD by Trinity College Dublin in 2008 based on the Effect Of Cardiovascular Homeostatic Mechanisms In Acute Traumatic Brain Injury. he has a strong interest in translation of best practice evidence into clinical practice through the development and implementation of integrated care pathways for common potentially life threatening emergency conditions. In collaborated with Prof Rose Anne Kenny she established of the first Falls and Syncope Pathway from the Emergency Department in Ireland in 2007
