Biography
I currently work at the Department of Pharmacy (DIFAR), Section of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Genoa University. My main research fields include Neuroscience, Neuropharmacology and Neurotoxicology. Using in vivo (microdialysis) and in vitro (synaptosomes, gliosomes and tissue slices) methods, I can monitor neurotransmitters release and its modulation by different mechanisms. My current project is 'Aβ physiological role: functional relationships with cyclic nucleotides in memory formation'
