Biography

Chika Ejikeugwu (PhD) is currently a DAAD postdoctoral fellow at the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (Bundesanstalt fÃ¼r Materialforschung und -prÃ¼fung, BAM), Berlin, Germany where he is researching on microbially induced corrosion (MIC) and biocide resistance using Pseudomonas aeruginosa mutant strains and sulphate reducing bacteria (SRB) as reference organisms. He is also a MIF Fellow, and had his first postdoctoral training on HIV-1 at the Laboratory of Infectious Disease Model, Institute for Frontier Life and Medical Sciences, Kyoto University, Kyoto, Japan (2018).
