Introduction
Global immunization programs are vital for public health, yet they continuously navigate a landscape of evolving challenges and opportunities. The recent COVID-19 pandemic, for instance, dramatically disrupted these efforts on a global scale, presenting significant hurdles alongside unique chances for programs to adapt and build resilience. It is clear that leveraging advancements in technology, strengthening existing health systems, and fostering robust international collaboration are paramount for maintaining and improving vaccine delivery, especially in the face of future crises, drawing crucial lessons from these recent experiences to inform strategic planning for years to come[1] . This widespread negative impact of the pandemic extended specifically to routine immunization services across the globe, manifesting as widespread decreases in coverage rates, severely disrupted supply chains, and the reallocation of critical resources. The situation urgently calls for comprehensive recovery strategies and the establishment of more resilient health systems to fully restore and then fortify these essential vaccination programs worldwide[3] . One major, ongoing obstacle to achieving optimal childhood immunization coverage remains vaccine hesitancy. This complex issue stems from a diverse array of reasons behind parental reluctance, making it imperative to address effectively. Pediatricians, in particular, hold a vital position in this effort, tasked with effectively communicating the myriad benefits of vaccination, directly addressing common misconceptions, and ultimately building trust with families to promote higher vaccination rates within their clinical settings[2] . Furthermore, adolescent immunization rates frequently lag behind those seen in childhood vaccinations, thereby posing distinct public health risks that require specific attention. Identifying successful strategies for boosting vaccination among adolescents includes implementing school-based programs, emphasizing strong provider recommendations, and delivering targeted patient education, all of which underscore the necessity for approaches meticulously tailored to this unique age group[7] . Beyond age-specific concerns, immunization programs often grapple with significant disparities in access and coverage, which are particularly pronounced among marginalized populations. A thorough review of available evidence points to effective strategies and interventions specifically designed to enhance equity in vaccination efforts. A systematic review delves into various digital interventions, ranging from simple mobile reminders to sophisticated electronic registries. It rigorously assesses their effectiveness in improving overall vaccination coverage and their capacity to address existing inequities, suggesting a profound potential for scalable and sustainable positive impact across diverse settings[5] . Concurrently, the establishment of efficient vaccine supply chains is absolutely fundamental to the overall success of any immunization program. This necessity drives reviews to examine key strategies for optimizing logistics, refining cold chain management, and strengthening distribution networks. These analyses consistently highlight how sustained technological innovation and strategic, forward-thinking planning can collectively enhance vaccine availability and concurrently reduce waste on a global scale[9] . Finally, the economic rationale for routine immunization programs is profoundly strong and well-documented. Systematic reviews and meta-analyses consistently underscore the significant economic value embedded in these Public Health initiatives. They unequivocally demonstrate that such programs are remarkably cost-effective, frequently generating more in healthcare cost savings and productivity gains than they initially incur. This evidence firmly establishes routine immunization as a sound and highly beneficial investment for global Public Health[6] . Moreover, maternal immunization represents a crucial protective layer, safeguarding both expectant mothers and their newborns against a range of infectious diseases. A review of recent advancements in this field discusses new vaccine candidates and innovative public health strategies, while also outlining future perspectives essential for expanding and optimizing these undeniably vital maternal vaccination programs[8] .

Immunization programs are fundamental to global Public Health, but their efficacy is consistently tested by various complex factors. The unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic served as a stark reminder of these vulnerabilities, causing significant disruptions to immunization efforts worldwide. This period, while challenging, also presented unique opportunities for these programs to demonstrate adaptability and build greater resilience [1]. The pandemic's pervasive negative effects severely impacted routine immunization services, manifesting as widespread decreases in coverage, substantial disruptions to Supply Chains, and the reallocation of critical resources. Consequently, there is an urgent and undeniable need for robust recovery strategies and the cultivation of highly resilient health systems to fully restore and then fortify these essential vaccination programs globally [3]. A persistent challenge further impacting these efforts is vaccine hesitancy, which remains a significant barrier to achieving optimal childhood immunization coverage. This reluctance stems from a multitude of parental concerns, highlighting the crucial role of pediatricians in fostering trust, effectively communicating vaccine benefits, and dispelling misinformation within clinical practices to improve vaccination rates [2].
