Abstract

Editorial Note on Tinea Pedis

Andrew Cooper

Athlete's foot (Tinea pedis) is a fungal infection that starts between the toes and spreads to the rest of the foot. It is most frequent in individuals whose feet have grown extremely sweaty due to being trapped in tight-fitting shoes. Scaly rashes with itching, stinging, and burning are common signs and symptoms of athlete's foot.
